The Russian film crew of “The Challenge” consists of only two members: actress Yulia Peresild (38 years old) and director – actor Klim Shipenko (39 years old). The crew stayed at the ISS for 12 days to film the necessary scenes.
The story of “The Challenge” revolves around a Russian female doctor who was sent to the ISS to treat an astronaut who was working at the station and suddenly had a serious health problem.
The search for suitable actors for the film project “The Challenge” was carried out very seriously, the actors interested in this project had to go through many difficult challenges to show that they had enough health and ability to participate in a special film project that had never been done before. When it reached the final selection round, only 30 candidates remained. The beautiful Yulia Peresild was the chosen actress.
